how i make a website

9. that should be it

That should be it – but it probably isn't. Websites rarely, if ever fall in place as smoothly as I make it sound here. This site certainly didn't. There are always unforeseen problems, but such problems are more likely to be caught early and corrected before major surgery is required.

Follow how I make a website or follow your own process – but do take the time to think things through. With no planning you can easily find yourself worlds away from where you initially hoped to be. I know. I've been there.

A well made website "programs people" in that it presents visitors open and appealing pathways to an end that benefits all. The work of programming computers to generate successful sites, is made much easier when you give yourself and everyone involved a clear and unambiguous goal to work towards.

If you don't know where you are going, you and your visitors alike will inevitably end up "someplace else".
